At کا استعمال کسی شخص یا object کی جگہ (point of location) ظاہر کرنے کے لئے کیا جاتا ہے۔
Eg: میں نو بجے اسٹیشن پہنچ جاؤں گی = I will be at the station at 9 o'clock

On کا استعمال تب ہوتا ہے جب کوئی شخص یا چیز کسی سطح پر ہو ’eg: On the table‘

in کا استعمال تب ہوتا ہے جب کوئی شخص یا چیز کسی شہر، ملک، چاردیواری، یا ڈبے میں ہو ’eg: in New York‘

I am in Delhi = میں دہلی میں ہوں ’استحکام‘

in اور at دونوں استحکام ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔ جبکہ 'To' کا استعمال movement ظاہر کرنے لئے کیا جاتا ہے۔
Eg: I am going to China, I go to work, I drove to Delhi
