Untuk mengungkapkan persetujuan dalam makna positif, gunakan 'so + verb + subject'.

Ivan didn't like the movie. Neither did I. = Ivan tidak suka film itu. Saya juga tidak suka film itu.

Untuk mengungkapkan persetujuan dalam makna negatif, gunakan \'neither/nor\'.

Tip

He is happy. So am I. = Dia gembira. Saya juga.

Apabila kalimat utamanya menggunakan 'to be', gunakan 'to be' juga pada kalimat terusannya.

He dances well. So do I. = Dia menari dengan baik. Saya juga.

Apabila kalimat utamanya menggunakan kata kerja (bukan 'to be'), gunakan kata kerja (bukan 'to be') juga pada kalimat terusannya.
