1) நாம் ஒரு reporting verb பயன்படுத்துகிறோம் : asked
2) பின்னர் நாம் if/whether சேர்ப்போம்
3) எந்த காலத்தில் கேட்கப்பட்ட கேள்வி , அறிக்கை விடு நேரத்தில் , அதை நாம் இறந்த காலத்தில் மாற்றிவிடுவோம் (can -> could)
